David Boyd

David’s story begins in the Spring of 2002. Looking for things to do with his daughter, they started to rummage through garage sales to pass the time and to find great bargains. Finding great deals on art books and other items his daughter was interested in was just the beginning. David had heard of eBay and was interested in it and started to buy a couple of things. Naturally, his thoughts turned to selling and how to make money using this online venue.

The turning point for David was a rare garage sale find of a vintage Quasar portable computer that looked like something from a James Bond movie. David haggled it down to a pricey $5 and immediately listed it on eBay. He knew he had a great find after the first day of bidding pushed it up to $40. Then he received a request from an international bidder in France to bid on it for their museum and the item eventually sold for over $150! That was enough to convince David that there was money to be made online.

Since then, David has expanded his selling capabilities to running an official eBay Trading Assistant business. His consignment selling business was established back in 2004 and is officially known as Selling 4-U LLC. David also specializes in online marketing and web design to further enhance his business skills. In 2006, David became a certified eBay Education Specialist to help teach others how to sell successfully. The same year, he also became a licensed NJ real estate agent and Realtor. David continues to learn new skills and technologies to further advance his businesses.
